01

Who we are

U-Boot Hunter is an independent iOS mobile game, built and maintained by a single developer. This document covers the U-Boot Hunter app only and explains what data we process - directly and through the services we rely on.

02

Data stored by the game itself

The game stores locally on your device (in app storage, via iOS's UserDefaults mechanism) only:

  • your best score,
  • your balance of collected U-Boot Dollars (the game's in-game currency),
  • your sound and music settings.

None of this information ever leaves your device - the game has no server of its own and sends nothing on your behalf. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes this data.

03

Ads - what Google AdMob collects

To keep the game free, we use rewarded ads delivered by the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Watching an ad is always optional and rewards you with in-game coins. Google, as an independent data controller, may in the process collect:

CategoryExamplePurpose
Advertising identifierdevice IDFAad matching and performance measurement
Device informationmodel, OS, languagecorrectly rendering the ad
Approximate locationcity/region levelad relevance, legal requirements
Ad interactionsimpression, click, completed viewreward crediting and statistics

Full details are in Google's Privacy Policy and in “How Google uses data from partner sites and apps” (policies.google.com).

04

Your choices

You have full control over whether and how ads use your data:

  • The “Allow Tracking” prompt (App Tracking Transparency) - the first time you launch the app, iOS will ask whether you agree to tracking for advertising purposes. Declining does not block the game - ads will simply be less targeted.
  • The “Privacy Options” button in the game menu - for players in the EU, UK and Switzerland, this opens Google's official consent form (User Messaging Platform), where you can change your decision on personalised ads at any time.
  • iOS system settings - under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking you can withdraw consent for all apps at once, or reset your advertising identifier.
Note: even with consent fully declined, the game works normally - only how targeted the ads are changes, not whether they're available.
05

Children

U-Boot Hunter is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent and believe such data has been collected through the advertising services described above, please contact us - we will remove it as quickly as possible, to the extent within our control.

06

Changes to this policy

As the game evolves, this document may change - for example alongside new features. The date at the top of the page always shows the last update. Significant changes will be flagged in the app's update notes.
