Who we are
CryptFall is an independent iOS mobile game, built and maintained by a single developer. This document covers the CryptFall app only and explains what data we process - directly and through the services we rely on.
Data stored by the game itself
The game stores locally on your device (in app storage, via iOS's UserDefaults mechanism) only:
- your gold balance and skill tree upgrade levels (HP, attack, fire rate, speed, luck),
- your unlocked heroes and which one is selected,
- your best score in the Dungeon and in Arena mode,
- lifetime stats (enemies defeated, bosses defeated, gold earned, runs played, deepest floor reached) and unlocked achievements,
- your Daily Challenge streak,
- your selected difficulty and interface language,
- your sound, music and haptics settings.
None of this information ever leaves your device - the game has no server of its own and sends nothing on your behalf. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes this data.
Ads - what Google AdMob collects
To keep the game free, we use rewarded ads delivered by the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Watching an ad is always optional and rewards you with in-game gold, or lets you revive once after dying. Google, as an independent data controller, may in the process collect:
| Category | Example | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising identifier | device IDFA | ad matching and performance measurement |
| Device information | model, OS, language | correctly rendering the ad |
| Approximate location | city/region level | ad relevance, legal requirements |
| Ad interactions | impression, click, completed view | reward crediting and statistics |
Full details are in Google's Privacy Policy and in “How Google uses data from partner sites and apps” (policies.google.com).
Your choices
CryptFall does not request tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency) and does not use your device's advertising identifier for personalized ads - the ads you see are non-personalized/contextual only. You still have some control over ads at the system level:
- iOS system settings - under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking you can review or restrict cross-app tracking for all apps at once, even though CryptFall itself never asks for that permission.
- Resetting your advertising identifier - you can also reset your device's advertising identifier at any time from iOS system settings.
Children
CryptFall is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent and believe such data has been collected through the advertising services described above, please contact us - we will remove it as quickly as possible, to the extent within our control.
Changes to this policy
As the game evolves, this document may change - for example alongside new features. The date at the top of the page always shows the last update. Significant changes will be flagged in the app's update notes.
